How to Safely Remove and Install a New Coil?

Removing the Old Coil:

1. Turn Off the Device: Before doing anything, make sure your vape device is turned off. This prevents accidental firing while you're working on it.
2. Empty the Tank: If there's e-liquid in your tank, you should empty it before removing the coil. 
3. Unscrew the Tank: Remove the tank from your device by unscrewing it. Some tanks have a base that you can unscrew to access the coil.
4. Access the Coil: Once the tank is separated from the device, you'll see the old coil screwed into the base or the tank itself.
5. Unscrew the Old Coil: Use caution and gentle force to unscrew the old coil from the base or tank. Be careful not to overtighten or force it, as this can damage the threading.

Installing the New Coil:

1. Prepare Your Coil: Ensure you have a new, uninstalled coil ready for priming. Drop a few drops of e-liquid directly into the center of the coil. This will saturate the cotton and wire inside. Also, apply e-liquid to the wick holes on the sides of the coil, ensuring that the cotton around the wicking holes gets soaked.
2. Attach the Coil: Install the primed coil into your tank according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Fill the Tank: Fill your tank with e-liquid, taking care not to overfill. Leave a small gap at the top to allow for air expansion. Allow the tank to sit for a minute or two so that the e-liquid in the tank is absorbed by the coil's wicking material.
4. Start at Lower Wattage: Set your device to a wattage significantly below the recommended range for the coil.
5. Begin Vaping: Take a few initial puffs at the lower wattage setting. This helps the coil break in gradually. Now, slowly increase the wattage in small intervals after each puff, ensuring you don't exceed the recommended wattage.
6. Continue Vaping: Take several puffs while gradually increasing the wattage until you reach your desired vaping wattage or the coil's recommended range.

Signs Indicating Your Coil Needs Replacement 

1. Burnt Taste: If your vaping experience suddenly tastes burnt or acrid, it's a clear sign that your coil is nearing the end of its lifespan or has already burnt out. Continuing to vape on a burnt coil can lead to inhaling harmful substances.
2. Gurgling Sounds: Unusual sounds, such as gurgling noises, emerging from your vape device can be indicative of coil issues. This could be due to improper coil seating, flooding, or a coil that's no longer functioning correctly.
3. Less Vapor Production: A decrease in vapor production, despite having a fully charged battery and sufficient e-liquid, is a sign of a coil that's losing its effectiveness. A fresh coil should produce denser vapor clouds.
